What size van do you need for your move?
The right van depends on more than the number of boxes. Dimensions, weight, safe loading, access and the number of planned journeys all matter.
List what you need to move first
Record large furniture, appliances, fragile items and the approximate number of boxes. Measure especially long, wide or tall items and allow space for protective materials.
Keep room for load restraint and a sensible loading order. A completely full cargo area is not automatically a safely loaded one.
Check cargo dimensions and payload separately
Cargo dimensions determine whether bulky items fit. Payload limits the permitted weight. The selected vehicle must satisfy both requirements.

Plan the route, access and time
